You may close your account by phone. Your account will be closed immediately and you will no longer be able to use your card. Accounts must be closed by the primary account holder by contacting customer service.
 
     
 
When you move to Japan or another country:
 
When moving your residence from the US, your account will be closed. After your account is closed, a monthly statement will continue to be issued until any unpaid balance is paid.
   
If you still have a balance when you leave the US:
 
Please change billing address to a person who will submit payment on your behalf or a US work address.
   
If you keep your checking account in the US:
 
You may make payments using your Online Account. If you plan to use this method of payment please advise us before closing your card account.
